Oscars 2025: "Anora" Dominates as the Big Winner of the Night

Adrien Brody won Best Actor for his role in "The Brutalist," portraying an architect who survives the Holocaust.



Zoe Saldaña received her first Academy Award, winning Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Emilia Pérez."

 

Kieran Culkin earned Best Supporting Actor for his role in "A Real Pain."

Samantha Quan, who accepted the Best Picture Oscar for "Anora," gained attention for her past acting role as Lori in the 2003 romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days."

Additionally, Edward Norton's reaction to losing the Best Supporting Actor award to Kieran Culkin became a viral moment, with fans speculating about his candid response.

The telecast attracted 19.7 million viewers in the United States, marking a slight increase from the previous year.



The ceremony was also streamed live on Hulu for the first time, expanding its accessibility.
