Ravyn Lyte Releases Debut Single “11111 (Just Be the One)”

The music industry is on the cusp of a transformative era, where human creativity and cutting-edge technology merge to create unprecedented artistic expressions. Leading this wave of innovation is Ravyn Lyte, a youthful AI-powered artist, DJ, and champion for positive vibes, boldly stepping into the future with her debut single, "11111 (Just Be the One)."

The Song “11111 (Just be the one)” was written and produced by Sean Myer (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ava Max) and Marcus "Bellringer" Bell (Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Gala) and A&R'd by dance/electronic music pioneer Nick Halkes who has enjoyed significant success working closely with artists such as The Prodigy and DJ Fresh.

"11111 (Just Be the One)" explores love and longing set against a futuristic drum and bass-influenced soundscape. The lyrics delve into the complexities of unspoken emotions and the push-and-pull dynamics of relationships, with the chorus's repetitive call to "just be the one" echoing the universal desire for human connection.

Ravyn Lyte is the brainchild of Marcus “Bellringer” Bell, the son of former national tennis champion Carolyn Bell, who toured the country with Arthur Ashe. Marcus was a child prodigy who started playing the piano at age two, wrote his first songs at eight, and started his own record label at 12. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Marcus began his career composing for big bands and orchestras, producing music drawing from jazz principles and learning to play 12 different instruments. As a music futurist, he soon broadened his horizons to look for innovative approaches ahead of the mainstream, like a Hip-Hop Country album long before the genre gained popularity. Remarkably, many of his songs were synced years after they were originally composed.

In 2023, Marcus lost his voice during a grueling recording session. As a technophile exploring technology throughout his career, he decided to use AI to clone his voice to complete the last of the project. That’s when the potential for creative innovation through AI tools became clear for Marcus.

”With AI, I could create images, sing a woman's voice, and use automation tools to speed up the process. What if I could use my own music catalog of songs I had written, sung, and produced to create new ones? I created a tool to help me do that. That was the birth of Ravyn Lyte. She’s an artist that embodies an inspirational brand to connect visually and sonically with new audiences and give voice to peace in a distraught world,” Marcus says.

Ravyn Lyte was created to impact societal issues for the better. In a world where emotions of hate and rage through music and lyrics are targeting young children, Rayvn Lyte's music has been designed with neuroscientists to embed sounds of peace and healing to soothe the soul. “What if every time you listen to music, it's calming you and having a psychological impact?,” Marcus says.

A portion of Ravyn’s music proceeds will go to nonprofits like White Hall Arts Academy, a Los Angeles-based organization that teaches music to underserved communities. “I see the work they do there and their impact on families, not just the kids. Many schools struggle even to have music programs, and that’s the kind of thing we aim to support with this project,” he says.

Human ingenuity and artificial intelligence seamlessly intertwine in what has become Ravyn Lyte. "11111 (Just Be the One)" is the start of what promises to be an exciting future of augmented creativity.

“11111 (Just Be the One)” is available July 12th, 2024 on Bellringer Productions.
